The Secret Behind the Charming Jerk – Chapter 4 – Story

But I want to. He said while smiling. God even his smile was amazing.

“Oookay.” I smiled back.

He just chuckled a little bit.

After we reached our destination. I decided to break the silence that we had been in the whole walk.

“So had been here.” I said trying to be excited but my tone failed me. I mean like seriously what was fun about going to science lab.

“Yeah, we should probably go in.” He stated.

“Yeah, I guess we should.” I was a little disappointed.

When we stepped inside just then the bell rang for us to start class. Just then Mr.Evans came inside class.

I sat a the third to last bench in the second column of benches. Kyle sat subsequent to me. As I looked around I found a group of blonde girls staring at Kyle and those who weren’t staring at him had been glaring at me like I have stolen a golden prize or one thing – Kyle – in other words. But the thing was I was not into him that way. I mean SURE he’s hot and funny but I would by no means go out using a dude like him.

Just then Mr. Evans voice cut via me thoughts.

“So class would you those who are on the right side of the bench appear to their left and those who are on the left side on the bench appear to their right.”

We all did so. I looked to my right and Kyle looked to his left.

“Say Hi to your new lab partner for this semester.”

‘WHAT!’ was all I thought I can’t be partners with him. But I had to suck it up and be nice.

“Hi, my name is Kyle nice to meet you.” He put out his hand for me to shake it and he had this huge lovely grin on his face. I couldn’t help but laugh at his sentence.

“Rose nice to meet you too Kyle or should I say partner.” I shaked his hand and without noticing I had a grin on my face too. God I can’t help but smile or grin or laugh around this guy.

“You will be doing a very detailed research about a topic of your choice but you have to pick it out of ten topics that I will hand out to you now.” Mr. Evans said while handing us a paper that had ten topics for us to chose from.

Kyle and I chose to do a research about eclipses and all about them.

“Okay then. You have two days to finish this research. Plus you will be also doing an essay about your research.” Mr. Evans added.

“Oh wow he didn’t even give us a lot of work.” I said in a sarcastic tone but low sufficient for me to hear but apparently Kyle herd it too. I saw hum chuckle after what I said.

“Sarcastic now aren’t we.” He said having a playful grin not leaving his gorgeous face.

“Well, you weren’t supposed to hear that.” I pointed it out.

“Oh well I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to intrude on your privacy.” He said acting like he was sad but after a sec his famous grin came back. I chuckled a bit at his poor acting.

“It’s ok, but just don’t do it again, k?” I said between my chuckles.

“Deal.” He said while giving me his hand to shake it. I shaked it, in an official business type-of-way.

“Deal.” I said and I didn’t notice but a huge grin appeared on my face showing my white teeth. I then remembered we had been still in class.

After like what seemed forever class ended and I gather my books and placed them inside my shoulder bag. I got up and headed for the door (given that now was lunch time and I had to meet up with my friend Lisa.) but as I was about to go out I felt a hand grab my wrist (which sent shivers down my spin.) I turned around to see who that hand belong to and found that it was Kyle’s hand.

“Hey Kyle.” I said confused and surprised.

“Hey, do you like um want to go with lunch with me?”

“Umm thanks but no thanks, I promised my friend Lisa I’d meet her at lunch. And you realize, can’t break a promise.” I said the last sentence having a fake excited tone but I was really nervous (I have no idea why.) and I tried to loosing the grip but he wouldn’t let go when though his grip was tight but yet gentle.

“Really? Is that honestly why you won’t go to lunch with me? Or is it some thing else?” It seemed like he was reading my mind.

“Well, you see.” I said while trying to think of what to say subsequent.
