We Met By Accident – Chapter 15 – Story

Hey you booked flight for Mexico? Nina messaged to Adam as she was just going to sleep after talking with him. Their engagement was fixed and was happening in Mexico as per Nina. Adam believed it to happen in Australia.

“Mexico?” Came Adam?s reply.

“Yeah, I mean only 15 days left.”

“15 days?”

“Adam, stop kidding.”

“No, not kidding. Are you talking about our engagement?”

“Of course. What else is there in 15 days?”

“But why I should book ticket for Mexico?”

“Are not you attending your engagement?”

Adam immediately called Nina startled by the fact that Nina wants him to go to Mexico for the engagement.

“Nina, I thought we are getting engagement here in Sydney.” Adam said on the phone to a half amused Nina who is now shocked to hear this line.

“What? I thought we are getting it in Mexico. My friends are there. Our relatives are there. Dad?s friends and-”

“The identical thing is here also Nina. My friends, my parents, their friends are here.” Adam sounded irritated.

“Okay okay, don?t get angry.” Nina was able to understand that Adam was acquiring bit angry. Usually she would also have got angry, but for some unknown reason she was calm and she tried to ease the situation. “Ok, let?s do one thing. Let?s have our engagement at one place and marriage at one place. How about this engagement at Sydney?”

Adam suddenly realized that he was behaving childish and Nina is speaking wise. They had been unnecessarily fighting. Adam was feeling poor for his behavior.

“I am sorry Nina, I should not have behaved that way. I will book tickets for Mexico. We will have engagement there.”

“No, it?s okay. All I want is you to be happy.”

Adam smiled and held the phone close to his chest. He spoke again “I know baby, but see you have already stayed here for some a lot more than 4 months now. So if the marriage happens in Australia, then less people have to travel to Australia for the marriage. And if it happens in Mexico, then my side people and people whom you realize from Australia – they all have to travel to Mexico. People can manage for engagement but in this way most people will not miss the marriage. What say?”

“Now I know why you’re so successful as a business development manager.” Both of them laughed.

Soon the engagement happened in Mexico, as decided by Nina and Adam. In the engagement party, Nina?s father announced happily about Nina and Adam?s marriage to his friends and relatives more than there in Mexico. The party was more than and Nina and Adam had been now in Nina?s room leaning against each other by the shoulder.

“My ring is stunning. Is not it?” Nina said searching at her ring which was shining far more using the moon light that was coming to her room by means of the window.

“Mine is also shining just like you.” Adam said smiling.

“Mine is much more.” Nina chuckled and sat up straight crossing her legs and faced Adam.

“Mine a lot more.” Adam came closer and said.

“Mine.” Nina came still closer.

“Mine.” Now they had been hardly 2 inches apart, the tension had grown between them and the breathing had started to increase. Now the mine-mine game was almost a whisper as they had been nearing each other. Finally the mine-mine game finished as their lips met and as the night started to sleep with all the two longing souls, enjoy prevailed everywhere.

“Come on Jeni, Just one much more shop.” Nina dragged Jenifer to another shop for choosing her dresses. They had been walking from shop to shop in search of her marriage dress and some dresses she wished to wear after marriage. It had already been 4 hours and Nina has not been able to finalize a dress. Jenifer?s legs are aching but Nina seems habituated with this all. In one shop they both liked one very pretty dress but Nina wanted to search some much more. So she kept dragging Jenifer to the subsequent shop in the mall where she could get some thing.

“Nina, this has to be the last shop.” Jenifer said tired as her legs had been denying to move one much more step.

“Promise.” Nina smiled and kept walking.

But alas, in that shop too Nina did not like any dress. After seeing so many dresses when she did not like anything, she made a pouted face and turned to Jenifer.

“Nooo, no far more shop.” Jenifer said faking a crying face.

Nina continued pouting her face and looked at Jenifer.

“Ok, let?s have some snacks and some coffee. We will see after that.” Jenifer suggested.

So, they went to a coffee bar and Jenifer ordered some hot coffee and some Anzac biscuits while Nina ordered a cold coffee, a chicken burger and potato croquettes. Jenifer was seeking at Nina with amazement as Nina was finishing her big snacks. More than their snacks, Jenifer suggested Nina to order her marriage dress at some boutique which she knew. Finally they drove to that boutique and then they left for their respective houses. Subsequent day Jenifer again accompanied Adam to select his tuxedo. Unlike Nina, Adam chose his tux in the second shop itself.

Finally it was time for the wedding bells to ring. Nina had chosen a white dress with thick sating, organza and embroidery. She looked like a goddess in that dress. Adam was already obtaining mesmerized to see Nina in that all white wedding dress. He himself looked so dashing and handsome that even for a moment Nina had kept staring him forgetting that she was in her own wedding ceremony. But the subsequent part was a surprise for Adam. Nina had chosen a sexy red dress for the reception party. So quick after the marriage she changed the dress and came in a red dress that hugged her body perfectly to show her curves. It was a strapless dress revealing her shoulders plus a long part of her back. Her cream complexion was a contrast to the red dress. Adam?s jaws literally dropped seeing her like this.

“Oh my.” Adam could not even finish the sentence when he saw Nina approaching him. Jenifer put her finger below his chin and closed his mouth.

“Stop staring like that. She is all yours.” She said teasing him. Adam blinked his eyes to clear his mind that it was actually Nina approaching him.

“Hmmm after all she spent four hours and finally selected these dresses in the small boutique.” Adam smiled. Nina crossed many people, shook her hands and smiled at everyone and finally reached at Adam. Jenifer winked and left both of them to each other. Many eyes had been on them, but all Adam wanted to do was run away from the crowd and drag Nina to the bed. While smiling to everyone, Adam leaned down towards Nina and whispered “Are you trying to seduce me?”

“Are you finding seduced?” Nina also said smiling at others.

“I think so.”

“Well then I am doing that.”

“Just wait and watch.” Adam said and Nina chuckled. During the party itself Adam saw when no one was watching him, he went to a room and dialed Nina?s number. Nina was talking with some people when her phone rang.

“Come to the room.” Adam said on the other side.

“Which room?” Nina excused herself from the guests and went to a corner where almost nobody could see her.

“The room where you got dressed.” Before Nina could say anything, Adam hung up. So Nina started going to the room. Once she opened the door, Adam dragged her inside and locked his lips with hers. Nina might have put great effort to put on that dress, but it took hardly a minute for Adam to detach it from Nina and reveal her figure in the bright light. Without wasting any time Adam hungrily kissed all more than her body.

What happened in that room in the day light, also replayed some couple of a lot more times that night in Adam?s house on his bed. Nina?s dad had arranged for their honeymoon in Europe. They had a great one week there.

They had become a happy couple. The following couple of days had been going very good. Nina used to attend meetings with her dad. When she came back home, Adam would teach her cooking and they would manage to make some dinner for the two. Nina was giving her best to learn cooking. Weekends had been either visits to some places in Sydney or Byron Bay or they would simple go to Nina?s house and have lunch or dinner.

“What?s for dinner?” One day Adam came from office really late and asked for dinner. Even Nina had come really late, in fact just 10 minutes before Adam reached. She had not prepared anything.

“I just reached Adam. Shall we make some thing now?” Nina suggested.

“Now? Why did not you make some dinner?” Adam said bit angry as he raised his voice. Nina looked shocked, but she did not want a fight. So she just said “I just reached Adam, give me some time. I will make.”

“Forget it. I don?t want.” With this Adam grabbed his coat which he had dropped on the couch and headed out to a restaurant. As he ordered some Chinese food and was about to have a spoon, he suddenly realized Nina is also hungry at home. He felt guilt for shouting at his wife for no reason. He packed the food and came back home. By the time he came back home, he saw all lights had been off. He could very well understand from the kitchen that Nina had not taken her food. He again felt sorry. When he opened the door of the bedroom, Nina was found on the bed under the blanket. She was not sleeping, but as she heard the door open, she swiftly closed her eyes. Adam had taken the food in a plate inside the bedroom. He dropped the plate on the table and slid inside the blanket and dragged Nina to his arms. Nina struggled a bit, but Adam was too strong. Finally when she was calm and stayed still in his arm, he kissed her shoulders and said “Sorry baby.”

Nina turned in his arms and looked at him. Anger was still there on her mind, but she tried her best to hide it. Adam took her hands and kissed it.

“There was too much work. I was a bit stressed.” He tried to explain. As a great girl Nina understood and nodded before Adam kissed her lips.

“Are not you hungry?” Nina asked breaking the kiss and Adam nodded.
They had the noodles and the sandwiches which Nina had made when Adam was out. After the food, when it was time to retire for the night, Nina suggested one thing which would be very good for them.

“Why don?t we keep a maid? We two are working late so many days.” Nina said while keeping her head on Adam?s chest. Adam was almost asleep, but when he heard this he moved Nina straight, so he could appear into her eyes. Nina straightened on the bed and took the pillow.

“Maid? I in no way kept maid.” Adam was not at all ready for some maid. He was in no way habituated and he did not need till now.

“I know, but I think we need now.” She said searching in the terrace. She knew she had made Adam angry again. Adam is generally not a poor tempered person, but ?..

“Nina, maids will appear excellent in your father?s house. If you want go and stay there.” With this he turned to his side and his back was towards Nina. Nina tried to explain the situation, but then thought Adam needed rest. May be he is not liking this idea. So she kept the idea aside and thought it?s okay. If Adam does not like to have a maid, let it be that way. She started planning her days, how to manage time and get things done properly so that these fights could be avoided.

Thanks for liking the story so far. here is the twist in this story. Hope you guys have got the hint about the twist. People who have not got the hint, I want to say that there differences are finding more than their enjoy.

@Melodicangel – Well, I know it’s bit early, but that’s what happened. You realize I had plan to finish this story in 12 chapters or so, but it has crossed 15 chapters already and I still don’t know how many chapters. So I am speeding a bit, though I will make sure that the story brings happiness.
