Unforgotten Love – Chapter 11 – Story

I was speechless. Shawn was still holding my hands and waiting for an answer but I didn?t know what to say. I did enjoy Shawn but I can?t stop thinking about Nick. What if Shawn cheats on me again? I don?t know if I can trust him.

“Umm. Shawn? I don?t know. You cheated on me and I don?t know if I can trust you again.”

He looked ashamed and turned his head away from me. “I?m sorry, Rachel. Please just give me another chance. I promise I won?t do it again.”

“I just need time to think. Okay?” Shawn nodded his head and let go of my hands. “Well I have to go now.”

“Do you want me to drive you?” He asked.

“No I’ll just walk.” I walked out of his front door and jogged to my house.

I thought about it all weekend. Even though Nick kissed me he doesn?t want to be in a relationship with me. He doesn?t even want to talk to me, but we have been best friends because we had been little youngsters so I don?t want to ruin that.

Shawn though wants to be in a relationship with me and I still do adore him. It wouldn?t be fair to him because I can?t stop thinking about Nick.

Every time I try to make a decision I start thinking about the other guy. It even worse because I can?t talk to my best friends about it.

I tried to think of a way to decided between them. If Nick doesn?t answer his phone this time, then I?m going to give Shawn another chance, I thought to myself.

I dialed his number and waited. It rang and rang and rang but he by no means answered.

So I guess I was going to give Shawn another chance. I picked up my bag and left to go to his house. I didn?t tell anyone I was leaving, like I usually did.

I walked to his house rapidly and tried not to think. If I did I would start thinking about Nick and change my mind.

When I saw Shawn?s house I ran up to the porch and rang the door bell. I heard him walk to the door. “Oh hey, Rachel.” He looked nervous and kept searching behind him. He was wearing a pair of black basketball shorts and no shirt.

“Hey, I just wanted to tell you that” Before I finished I saw a girl with red hair. She walked towards him.

“Shawn, when are you coming back to bed?” She asked. I saw that it was Becca and she was wearing just her bra and underwear.

Becca walked up to Shawn, wrapped her arms around him and kissed him on the cheek. “Come on, babe,” she whined.

“What the hell!” I gave him the finger and ran off his porch. Behind me I heard his voice calling my name but I didn?t care, I just kept running.
